Vasant Nayak is an Indian-American artist living in Baltimore, USA. He is the co-founder of the MurthyNAYAK Foundation and PhotoSouthAsia – doing philanthropic work in India and the USA. He was recently appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Aperture Foundation, NY. Aperture is nonprofit arts institution, founded in 1952 by Ansel Adams, Minor White, Barbara Morgan, Dorothea Lange, Nancy Newhall, Beaumont Newhall, and others. Their aim is to connect the photo community and its audience with the most inspiring work and sharpest ideas. We will be featuring an interview with Vasant Nayak in the coming Samyak Drishti issue.
